Apply directly to the scalp using fingertips. Part hair in sections and massage gently into the roots, focusing on areas that need extra attention. Use the pads of your fingers — not your nails — and work in slow, circular motions to encourage circulation. Allow the oil to sit and absorb. It can be used on dry or wet styles, stretched styles, braids, twists, or protective styles without disruption.
For strand nourishment, warm a small amount between your palms and smooth through the length of the hair, concentrating on the ends where moisture is most needed. A little goes a long way.
For a hot oil treatment. Place the closed bottle in a cup of warm (not boiling) water for several minutes until the oil reaches a comfortably warm temperature. Apply generously to scalp and strands. Cover with a plastic cap and allow the oil to penetrate under gentle heat or body warmth for 20–30 minutes. Rinse when you are after 15 minutes or leave in for extended hair conditioner. Follow with your regular wash routine as needed.
GottaGrow™ is best used overnight. Apply to scalp and strands with fingers, comb or brush threw, massaging the entire scalp, cover with a satin bonnet or scarf, and allow the oils to support your scalp while you rest.
